Willie Taylor Obituary

Willie A. Taylor was born March 15, 1932 in Montgomery, Alabama to John and Maggie Taylor. As their eldest child he was determined to walk to the tune of his own drum beat. He attended Public School in Birmingham, Alabama. Willie Albert confessed Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He set out in pursuit of manhood at an early age. He boldly pursued his calling of service of service. He learned various trades including fire fighting, ministering to others and that of commerce transit for packaged goods. Willie Albert was indeed a pioneer of an entrepreneurial spirit for black men to follow with his venture into financial independence. As an independent trucking service owner, he was able to live a life the most only dreamed of living. When one speaks of Willie Albert, a lifetime companion of Loretta Deshazer demonstrated that family moves beyond blood lines and is indeed something to be cherished. He loved Anthony (Veronica) Deshazer as his own and shared many experiences much like a biological father would with his son. Willie Albert was preceded in death by his mother Maggie and father John, brothers Robert Lee, John Jr., James Edward, and sister Mamie. He leaves to cherish his memories his sisters Maggie Lee, Bertha Jones-Myrick, and Gloria Jean (James) Jackson, a host of nieces, nephews, and many family members.
