Wanda Gail Bryant The daughter of late Rebecca and Lenaire Lewis. Born in Florence, Sc on July 23, 1951. God called her home on February 28, 2015. At an early age, Wanda moved to Baltimore, Md. In the early 1960s she moved to Philadelphia, PA. She attended Philadelphia Public Schools; Ferguson Elementary, Penn Treaty Junior High, and finally Bok High School. At 18, she was baptized. In 1970 at the age of 19 she received the Holy Ghost at Lily of the Valley Apostolic Church. In 1996, she met the love of her life at a mutual friends party. They dated for five years and in June of 2001 they were married. Wanda held various jobs throughout her life. She started at Byberry Hospital. She ended her career as a dietician at Stenton Hall where she stayed until 2004. In November of 2006, Wanda suffered a stroke and in January of 2007 she made Mt. Zion Apostolic Church her home. She was very involved at the church as a part of the Ushers Board, a Pastors Aid, and women's auxiliary. Wanda's hobbies were shopping, shopping, and more SHOPPING! ! She was very conscious of her appearance. She was a DIVA! Her favorite color was orange, she dedicated the themes of her home to the color. She is survived by her husband; Gregory Bryant. Six children; Rhonda Lewis Jones, Kevin Lewis, Sylvia Shackelford Smith, Sonya Shackelford, Troy Vereen, and her baby girl Markita Vereen. From her union she gained three children; Lisa, Greg Jr., and Talia. Two son in-laws; Gerald and Alonzo and one daughter in-law; Syreeta. Twenty-three grandchildren; Gerald Jr., Marcus, Rene
