Tyrone Bryant

Tyrone Bryant was born on November 27, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA to Nora Lee Stanback & Roy Bryant. He was the oldest of four children.
Tyrone completed his education through the Catholic and Philadelphia Public School System. He worked for 40years as a suit presser at various companies throughout the Philadelphia area. Tyrone also worked as a bartender for a number of years.
Tyrone was affectionately known by family and friends as "Butsy", "Beever" and "Prettyboy" to himself.
Tyrone loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going fishing whether it was with a group or going by himself. Tyrone enjoyed watching TV Westerns & black and white films.
Tyrone was an advocate for equal rights; he participated in a protest at West Chester, PA to end discrimination against African Americans. Tyrone also volunteered to go to Philadelphia, MS as a part of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). CORE provided food & clothing to the protesters.
Tyrone was supportive and enjoyed spending time with his children & grandchildren. He was known for his calm, loving and caring personality. He loved to laugh, tell old stories and jokes. Tyrone's favorite saying was "And that's the deal".
Tyrone's health began to fail early May of 2016 and he was called home on June 3, 2016.
Tyrone leaves to cherish his memories: Five children Tyrone, Kevin, Tanya, Tyson and Baron; One daughter in-law Michelle all of Philadelphia; Thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; Two special cousins Ralph & Ronald Paige whom he loved as brothers; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tyrone's parents & siblings preceded him in death.
