Robert Wade

Our beloved Robert Wade departed this life on January 5, 2015 at his home in Philadelphia, Pa. with his wife at his side. He was born on July 31, 1931 in Rochingham County in Eden, N.C. to the late Jack and Nancy (Artis) Wade. He attended school at the Eden Public School System in Eden, N.C.. Early in life he married the late Annie Hampton. From their union they had a son. Robert Wade Jr.. After relocating to Philadelphia, Pa., he worked as a press operator. He then met and married the late Mildred Davis. From their union they had two daughters Darlene D. Wade which preceded him in death and Nancy A. Wade. Later in life he was united to his loving wife Estella Blue. He was preceded in death by his brother Jake Wade jr; his sisters Dora Lee Wade, Annie Wade, Ammie Keen and Ethel Benthall. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Estella Wade; one son Robert Wade Jr. of Eden, N.C.; one daughter Nancy Wade of Philadelphia, Pa., one brother Anderson Wade of Eden, N.C., ten grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
