Rita A. Wiggins

Rita A.Wiggins was born on April 28th,1965 to Gail Washington and Walter Chew. Rita was educated in the Philadelphia education system. She accepted Christ at an early age. She loved dancing, singing, and playing around with everyone. She went on and began a union with the Late Anthony Griffin and out of the union came four boys Anthony, Damon,Sean and Marque' who she loved dearly. She married Joseph Wiggins in 2015 whom she loved dearly. Rita obtained a job at The Archdiocese of Philadelphia where she worked until 2015. Her energy and contagious smile always made her the life of the party. She became known as "Ar" to many and "Yum-Yum" to her grandchildren. Her infectious laugh and personality won the hearts of so many people. Her interaction with her community was so amazing everyone's children became her niece and nephew calling her "Auntie Ar". Her beautiful spirit will definitely be missed. She leaves to mourn her Husband, Joseph Wiggins of Philadelphia, Pa her mother Gail Washington of Philadelphia, Pa Her father Walter Chew of Spotslyvania,Va, her four wonderful boys Anthony, Damon, Sean and Marque' all of Philadelphia, Pa three grandchildren Briyel Griffin, Malay Griffin and Skylar Griffin all o Philadelphia,Pa. brothers Franklin Washington ; Melena Washington of Windermere,Fl Kimble Chew of Spotsylvania,Va Walter Covington of Spotsylvania, six sisters Wanda Chew of Spotsylvania,Va Dena Chew of Spotsylvania, Va Tiffany Coleman of Spotsylvania, Va Wendy Chew of Spotsylvania, Va and Brandy Chew of Spotsylvania, Va and Keisha Covington of Spotsylvania, Va. Father in law Joseph Wiggins Sr.; mother in law Debra Wiggins One sister in law Tavia Baker-Prater ;brother in law Jeremy Prater Carlos Wiggins; wife Trisha Wiggins; God mother Rita Pendlenton-Davis and host of dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear cousins.
