Nancy Pabon Wright

Nancy Pabon Wright was born on November 21st, 1960 to the late Petra Martinez and Agripino Pabon in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Nancy is survived by her brothers Andy & Pedro Pabon, and sister Glady Smith. Nancy had two siblings that preceded her in death, Georgie Pabon Sr and Milagros Pabon Lozada. At a young age Nancy & her family left Puerto Rico to move to New York. After several years her mom moved her and her siblings to Philadelphia. At the age of 20, Nancy married Arlington Wright which ended in a divorce. She later found love and had a very happy relationship with Raymond Hackett. Nancy attended the Philadelphia Public System graduating from Olney High School. After graduating high school she was employed in public service. After several years she went on to continue her education at St. Joseph's University, and received her Master's Degree at Widener University in Social Work. Nancy valued education and she truly enjoyed educating everyone especially the young and old. She took pride in enlightening all on how to be productive in society. Her last job was at the Children Psychiatric Center in North Philadelphia. Nancy was tragically taken from us on September 15, 2015. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews: Vanity, Michelle, Leslie, Mimi, Alexander Jr, Georgie Jr, Mikey, Issac, Jacob, Emmanuel, Edwin and Jason. Nephews Erik and Joey preceded her in death. She also leaves behind a slew of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces, all who loved her dearly. Nancy enjoyed being at the gym in her spare time. Staying healthy and fit was her motto! Nancy didn't have any children, but her cats, Gato and Sheba were considered her babies.
