Milagros "Millie" Lozada was born on January 22, 1946 to Agripino Pabon and Petra Martinez in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Millie was the eldest of six children who included 3 brothers: Pedro, Georgie (deceased) & Andy and 2 sisters, Gladys and Nancy. Millie moved with her family from Puerto Rico to New York at an early age. While in New York she went on to pursue a career in nursing which would turn into many years of caring for others. During her nursing career Millie moved to Philadelphia where she began her legacy that is her family, which includes her seven children: Joey (deceased), Michelle, Leslie Ann, Alexander JR, Erik Anthony JR (deceased), Milagros "Mimi" and Jason Luis. Millie went on to raise her six of seven children while maintaining her career. In the winter of 1990 Millie's long health battle began and she was unable to continue working. From this point on Millie was blessed to be surrounded by the growth of both immediate and extended family.
