Michelle Reeves-Bowens Obituary

On May 3, 2017 the almighty God from above closed the eyes of our beloved Ms. Michelle Robin Reeves-Bowens and she entered into her eternal rest quietly and peacefully.

Michelle Bowens daughter of the late Lenard George Reeves and Lenora Barbara Hoyt-Reeves was born on August 22, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York.

Michelle received all her formal education in the New York Public School System attending South Shore High School and recieveing her high school equivalency diploma from New York State High School in 1977. Michelle worked as a receptionist at Little Brothers-Friends of the elderly and various Home Care Aid jobs taking care of elderly people as God seen her fit to do. She loved her jobs and performed them diligently and passionately.

Michelle was a spiritual person, getting baptized on October 9, 2012 at Second Macedonia Baptist Church of Philadelphia, Pa. Then four years later joining New Hope Outreach Center in Germantown under the leadership of Michelle G. Pugh was one of the happiest moments. She Loved her new church family very much as well did.

Michelle was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend. She loved them very much and if you ever needed her she was a phone call away. Michelle loved to entertain and made many friends. Spending her free time going Line Dancing a few times a week, and taking cruises as often as she could. It always put Joy in her heart and a smile on her face.

Michelle leaves to mourn with cherished memories her husband Clyde Bowens, one sister Cheryl, seven nieces Quentasia, Naesha, Tenikia, Tawana, Michiah, Judeeu, and Karla, four nephews Quentin, Quincy, Markius, and Johnathan. Two special grand nieces Ariyannah and Kei'Arrah and a special friend Steven E. Barrow and a host of other relatives and friends.

Those who preceded her in death, her mother Lenora Reeves, Father Lenard Reeves, one sister Desiree Reeves, one brother Lenard "Bryant" Reeves, one nephew Matthew Heaverely, and a special great aunt Camiline "Cammy" Dunn.

You left me beautiful memories, your love is still my guide, and though we cannot see you, you're Always at my side.
