My Beloved Son Michael C. Moody was born in Launnburg, North Carolina in Scotland County to the late Bishop Frank O. Moody and Clara Louise Moody. Michael entered eternal sleep on December 25, 2014. Michael was educated in the Philadelphia School System for some years then graduated from a GED program. At an early age Michael counseled youth at Cornwell Heights Detention Center and also coached the Cornwell Heights Viking Football Team. Michael known to many as Mikel to know him was to love him unconditionally just as he loved, he was indeed a mild mannered , caring, and unselfish brother. He would always sit and listen to oldies by butterball on Sunday evenings with his mother, Michael also looked forward to Norris Street Annual gatherings. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving mother Clara L. Moody, 3 sisters Mrs. Kim Moody-Trotman, Mrs. Darlene Moody-Blackwell, and Rhonda Moody; one brother in Law Charlie C. Trotman Jr., 6 nephews Anwar Thurston, Aquill Wilson, Rahmid Trotman, Mikal Wescott, Howard Blackwell Jr., and Demetrius Nelson; 1 niece Kimberly Blackwell; 1 great niece Amiyah M. Blackwell; 3 great nephews Mikal S. Wescott Jr., Kyaire A. Trotman, and Michael Stephen Gilbert and a host of family and friends.
