Mary Michelle Hickson-Lawrence

Our Heavenly Father we come to you in the name of Jesus to thank you for the birth of Mary Michelle Hickson who was born on January 2, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pa.to the late Louise Mae Hickson and James Pollard. Mary was affectionately known as "Sally".

Mary departed this life on Monday, May 15, 2017. At an early age she attended Zoar Methodist Church in Philadelphia, Pa. She was educated in the Philadelphia School System. After graduating from high school, she worked for Hahnemann Hospital. Mary worked various jobs and was dedicated to caring for her children.

Mary met the love of her life Guy (Moose) M. Lawrence in 1973 and the two later married in Las Vegas, Nevada in the year of 2000. Mary and Guy enjoyed traveling nationally and internationally with their children and grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting parties, cooking and being with her family. She was known for her famous "Seafood Salad". Everyone knew Mary for her jokes, she was a "happy go lucky" person and always kept everyone laughing. Her favorite saying was "Who loves you baby".

Mary was preceded in death by one brother, James Robert Hickson. Mary leaves to mourn with cheerful memories her husband Guy Lawrence; one daughter, Tammy (Peanut) Hickson-Burrell.
