Lorenzo Crew Jr

Lorenzo Crew Jr. entered this life on September 24, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pa; he was the second oldest child of Lorenzo Crew Sr. and Mercedes Bennett-Crew. He was educated in The Philadelphia Public School System, graduating from West Philadelphia High School and NRI Vocational and Electronics School. Lorenzo Jr. was a movie buff, a Star Trek enthusiast (Trekkie), he loved sports and electronics. Like his father, he was an amateur boxer and weight lifter, he will be remembered for sparring and lasting three rounds, at that time, the number one world ranking contender Jr. Light Weight, Tyrone Everett. Lorenzo Jr. was at skillful Electrician, Plumber and Handyman Lorenzo Jr. worked at Pier 84 where he met his best friend and brother from another mother Paul Davis. He was a committee man and worked at the voting polls along with his mother who was the judge of Elections and brother, Mario was the minority inspector. Lorenzo Jr. leaves behind one brother, Mario Crew Sr., one sister Cynthia Crew, two nephews, three nieces, other family members and friends.
