Johnnie Mae Gilliam

Our Mother Johnnie Mae Gilliam was born September 14, 1934 in Columbia, South Carolina to Mary Adams Chapman and Bobby Adams, and her grandparents John and Ida Chapman.

Evangelist Johnnie was educated in Columbia, South Carolina and in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Johnnie Mae worked for the School District of Philadelphia for many years until she retired. Evangelist Johnnie Mae was a member of Deliverance Evangelistic Church, while there she served on the Outreach Ministry for 30 years.

Johnnie Mae leaves to cherish her memory four sons Herbert, Tyrone, Ronald, and Gary preceded her in death, and three daughters Yanda, Toni, and Kelly. Two daughters-in-law St. Dorcas and Patty; seven grandchildren Herbert, Patrice, Patricia, Maya, Shean, Lona, and Michelle; five Nephews Ceon, Tre', Kendell, Kevin, and Corey.
