Helen (Williams Troutman) Staton, a long-time resident of Camden, NJ died on September 17, 2015. Born on June 17, 1934 in Mocksville, NC to Robert Williams and Veta Mae Troutman, Helen attended nursing school in Philadelphia, PA. She worked at various local hospitals including Albert Einstein Hospital. She retired in the early 1980s as a private nurse. She is predeceased by her father, Robert Williams, mother, Veta Mae Troutman, and brother, Robert Lee. She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Baxter Mark Staton (Rosalina), daughter, Tarhonda Staton; grandchildren, Kenneth Juanico, Darrell Staton (Leidalis) and Helen Staton; seven great grandchildren; goddaughter, LaTisha Quick; special cousins, James Troutman, Marvin Nichols, Sara Nichols, El-Veta Wescott, Vernon Clement, Ernest Quick, and Sidney Chunn; special friends, Ida Jones and Sandra Jones; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
