Florence Lightner born August 15, 1945 was the daughter of William and Florence Ethel Jones. Florence grew up in the Philadelphia School System. She dedicated 25 years plus to Weber Factory Incorporated of Philadelphia and spent her remaining years in childcare services, where she devoted her time unconditionally to all her children. She spent years of self employment doing her favorite pass time, going to flea markets and shopping with Ness. She went on Saturdays religiously. To know Florence aka Florency was to love her. Most people thought of her as an angel. She gave her love, Charity, and any and all sacrifices regarding sharing herself with others. She drew people to her and trust and believe she could keep a secret. Florence would often tell everyone that "We Gotta Stay Prayed Up". Like Richard said, she was (young) 70 and she loved the Lord, and he was ready to go too. God allowed her to close her eyes with her children by her bedside. She made transition in life to meet up with Christine, Leroy, and Brenda Jones. Her aunt Ruby Lee Wood, and nephew Stephone Jones. Florence leaves to cherish her memory the Loves of her Life Tony, Ness, and Kevin. Knowing her you knew all about them, and the Lord Jesus Christ who she often spoke about to everyone. She also leaves eight grandchildren Craig, April, Andrew, Antoinette, Shaniqua, Christopher, Michael, William, Jr. Lighter, and a host of great-grandchildren, family members, and friends who loved her dearly. We thank God for our time with her and allowing her to rest from her labors.
