Evelyn Daye

Evelyn Robinson Daye was born February 21, 1948 to Louise Ware Robinson and William D. Robinson in Anderson, South Carolina.

As a teenager Evelyn relocated to Philadelphia with her mother. There she met her husband of 52years Sidney Wayne Daye. Together they raised 4 children Antonio, Sidney jr., Melesia, and Andrea.

Evelyn was a devoted loving wife and stay at home Mom for several years before starting Daye's Cleaning Service with her husband Sidney. Their family run business served Philadelphia and the surrounding areas for 30 years.

Evelyn had a love for many things (movies, soap operas, jewelry making, arts and crafts) but spending time with her family was her favorite of all. Especially her Sisters. She was cherished by all who met her. No one ever left her presence without a full belly and feeling loved.

She leaves behind her (4 Sisters); Cynphia Freeman, Jacqueline Fisher, Lolita Robinson, and Barbara Robinson; 1 brother Bill Robinson; (4 children); Antonio Robinson, Sidney Daye Jr., Melesia Blow, and Andrea Daye; (Daughter in-law) Sharon Robinson (14 grandchildren); Antonio Jr. (Boo), Antwain, Corey and Patrice, Anthony, Sidney III, Nicholas, Barbara, Melesia (Mimi), Manny, Maya, Charles (Bird), Misty, and Angel; 11 great-grandchildren; And a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and In-laws.

She is preceded in death by her; (Husband) Sidney W. Daye, (Mother) Louise Robinson, (Father) William D. Robinson. (Brother) Gregory Robinson, and (Grandson) Malcolm Sharratt.
