On Tuesday, January 16, 2018 God called Anne Elizabeth Bryant home.
Anne E. Bryant was born to the late Evelyn Lowe & Joseph Cipriano on February 10, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA. Anne grew up in the heart of Philadelphia (Germantown section of the city) where she attended Public School.
At an early age Anne, was raised at Bethel AME Church in Germantown. She served on the Usher Board & was an active member of the Scholarship Committee.
On October 31, 1965, Anne E Bryant married the late Tyrone Bryant.
Anne had four children, Kevin, Tanya, Tyson and Baron that she loved dearly. Anne enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Polo.
Anne was a committed and valued member of Northwest Action Committee (NWAC) and volunteered on numerous campaigns; Councilwoman Donna Reed Miller, Rep John Myers and Mayor John Street. Anne was a duly elected 59th ward Democratic committee person and was active in her community. Anne was also elected by her East Germantown community to represent their voice on the Germantown Community Collaborative Board.
Anne was a very passionate and strong advocate for children and families. Employed by the Germantown Settlement, Anne worked in several capacities including: teacher's assistant at the Germantown Charter School & after School Student Support at Roosevelt Middle School.
In October of 2016, Anne was baptized at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Anne was preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan Lowe.
Anne leaves to cherish her four children, Kevin, Tanya, Tyson and Baron; One sister, Victoria Pettis; Two daughter - in-laws , Michelle & Starlett; Nine grandchildren, Antonio, Jasmine, T'Keyah, Chebria,T'Neyah, Tyson Jr., Imani, Darian and Brianna; four great grandchildren, Damon, Taylor, Trinity and Tailyn; a host of nieces, nephews and special friends;
