Aesha Shenita Shonte' West Jarmon was born on August 2, 1980 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the only child of Pamela West-Sawyer and Basil Ali. Aesha was raised by her grandmother Louise West whom she loved and cared for deeply. She affectionately called her Mommy.
Aesha completed her education through the Philadelphia Public School System. Aesha went to school for Medical Assistant at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, graduating in July 2000. Aesha became a certified Nursing Assistant graduating from the Breslin Learning Center. Apart of 1199C graduating in 2001. Aesha Began her career at Broomall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, as a certified Nursing Assistant, later to move on to Medical Records until her untimely death.
On September 1, 2000 she gave birth to her only son Robert West. Aesha met and married her best friend Brian Jarmon while working at Broomall, they were later married on August 12, 2006.
Aesha found God at an early age, always giving inspirational advice to others. Aesha was very compassionate, always seeing the good in others. Aesha gave her life to God, joining the National Temple Baptist Church under the guidance, leadership of Pastor Terry Oakman, Sr. Later she followed her spiritual journey to Taylor Memorial under the guidance, leadership of Pastor G. Lamar Stewart, Sr. Later to find her home at Nazarene Baptist Church under the guidance, leadership of Pastor K. Marshall Williams, Sr. Aesha served as a Deaconess in her spiritual journey.
Aesha had a very special sister/niece relationship with her aunt Paulette. Aesha was affectionately known to her family and friends as "Esha". Her favorite T.V. shows were Empire, The Have and the Have Nots, Say yes To the Dress, and the Golden Girls. She also had a love for sports, she loved her Philadelphia Eagles, she also loved the Army/Navy Football Game and she loved Basketball as well.
Aesha leaves to cherish her memories; her Husband Brian Jarmon, son Robert West, three step children, Mother Pamela West-Sawyer (Lee), Grandmother Louise West, Aunts Paulette West, Mary Oakman, and Tracey Scott of Florida. Uncles Paul Scott of Florida and Douglas Watts; great aunts Ethel Wilson, Ruby Hunter, Rose Campbell, and Florence Oakman (Preceded her in death). Great great aunt Mary Frails, Great great Uncle Rudolph Stephens, 1 half-sister, 1 half-brother, 3 step sisters, 1 step brother, 4 brothers in law, 1 sister in law. A very special cousin/daughter Kaia Watts, a host of cousins, and other relatives.
